From a total edition of 250 numbered copies, this is one of 24 copies beautifully printed on fine wove paper (specially made for this edition) with two original drawings, two copper plates used for the book, an extra suite of the 108 etchings without text, and 236 proofs of intermediate states (THUS 452 ORIGINAL ETCHINGS IN ALL, ILLUSTRATING THE EVOLUTION OF ALL OF THE ETCHINGS AND THUS OF THE ARTIST'S CONCEPTION OF THE PROJECT AS A WHOLE).
