The artists' association Üecht ("Dawn"), which included Oskar Schlemmer, Willi Baumeister, and Gottfried Graf, operated in Stuttgart from 1919 to 1925 as a local group of the Berlin Novembergruppe. In addition to works by the Üecht group, however, the "Herbstschau" also featured works by Kurt Schwitters, Jacques Villon, Adolf Hölzel, Rudolf Bauer, Jacoba von Heemskerck, Wassily Kandinsky, Johannes Molzahn, Georg Muche, Arnold Topp, Paul Klee, Alexander Archipenko, Marc Chagall, Fernand Léger, Franz Marc, and Ida Kerkovius, among others.
